October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. Losing a baby or child at any age or stage is not easy and it can be one of the hardest things in life to face. It’s comforting to know that when walking through loss and grief, there are people around us who care and who can walk the path with us. While they may not carry the same pain or express their pain in the same way, they can feel your loss and may have experienced it themselves. To those who are grieving for children that they’ve lost, we see you and we acknowledge your pain. Because your baby was little or unknown doesn’t mean that he or she is insignificant. For those who are walking along side you, here is a link to helpful information on how to be there and provide best support, what to say and what not to say to someone who is grieving a pregnancy loss.
