Hospital, Birth Center or Homebirth…. No matter where you plan to deliver, a Doula is a valuable resource to a birthing mother and her family. Giving birth is often a vulnerable time for a family. Not only are birth outcomes improved when a Doula is present, but overall satisfaction and peace of mind are as well. We offer Doula Services for ALL birth settings, whether it be in a hospital, in a birth center or at home.

Sarah Walsh is a DONA trained birth doula whose passion is supporting all mother’s through their pregnancy, birth and postpartum journeys. She is a wife and a mother of two, Noah (7) and Evelyn (5). Her journey in the birth world and as a birth doula began as an active duty United States Marine when the wives of other service members sought her out and asked that she be there for them during their labor. Sarah sincerely believes that all stages of pregnancy and birth are sacred. Not only are babies born but so are mothers. Her fulfillment is in knowing that each mother feels safe, supported and empowered through the beautiful and life changing journey that is pregnancy and birth.
Alyssa Bedard, a St. Petersburg native, became interested in birth work after receiving her master’s degree in Public Health Education with a focus in Maternal and Child Health. Through research, community work, and having personally overcome the hardships of being a young, single mom, Alyssa became passionate about perinatal support and providing reassurance to the birthing space. She has devoted her personal and professional work to empowering families through the precious moments of pregnancy, birth and parenting. As a doula, speaker, and educator, Alyssa believes that the birth experience is truly the foundation of all life’s practices and deserves to be trusted and honored.
